Don’t wait until you’re the “perfect” weight to find nice clothing! Here are some tips on how to shop when you’re losing weight.
1. Do a closet and lifestyle analysis.

-Get rid of “too large” items
-Wrap or tie dresses and tops help cinch as you shrink
-Skirts and dresses adjust to weight-loss better than trousers
-Sports bras or genie bras
-Elastic waistbands
-BELTS!

2. BASICS! Goodwill, consignment shops, garage sales… Go to the wealthier parts of town for high quality.

3. Cardigans/jackets that are a smaller size than you actually wear can be left open in the front. As you lose weight, you’ll be able to button them. [CONGRATS!}

4. Printed and patterned tops and scarves will draw the eye up and to your slimming face. Use jewelry or scarves to jazz up an old blouse or dress or skirt that is getting too large

5. COLORS: Black isn’t necessarily slimming, and only looks good on a few people. Find out what looks good on your body type, your coloring, and how line works.
