i also think it’s true: after yoga i want to eat healthy and do more good
things for me. i believe thats also because yoga gives a better feeling for
your body :)

I eat some junk food (maybe once a month or so) and don’t like sweets that
much, but since Im a male looking to gain weight, and muscle and I don’t
think that eating little to no meat or too much vegetables does help me ojn
that. I agree with her though, junk food tends to make you anxious very
quickly… btw, just don’t feel guilty every time you eat fries or other
junk food, that’s unhealthy too

After hurting my knee doing very extreme home workouts for a few years,
transitioning to yoga and light training (a bit of a run and weight
lifting) really did wonders for me and when I really stuck to the healthy
eating I lost about 4lbs in a month which I couldn’t achieve with Insanity
or other extreme workout programs, unfortunately eating extremely
vegan/healthy is not always an option for me because I don’t have much
money to buy all the pricey healthy rare stuff and am struggling with time
but I’m trying to make it better and it takes time to adjust…
It really is true that youga calms my mind and doesn’t feel like a strain
or a chore and it makes me feel really good about myself, but I will state
one thing, eating habits are ones choice so even if it is not ultra
healthy, I think it is still ok to binge once or twice a week with small
stuff it won’t kill you, and as for vegan/vegetarion opinion, I like my
meat but I like to keep it lean (chicken, turkey and fish), and from time
to time I like to try some vegetarian meals but I don’t want to cut out the
meat or animal products completely. And I agree with you there is no magic
pill for weightloss, just consistancy and dedication will get you far,
maybe not that quick but it will last longer. :)

I’m dealing with some stubborn body issues.. With weight loss, I’ve lost
the belly I originally set out to lose, but I also lost too much in my
breasts and hips and now I have no shape whatsoever when I always saw
myself as having a natural pear-hourglass shape

yoga has helped me not only shape my body and become healthier physically (
I lost 40 pounds), but it has also helped me mentally as well. Mentally,
meaning i have forgiven what has passes and learned to move through it all
in a positive way. Also, Tara is my main girl when I just feel like staying
home and doing yoga.

I’ve been doing yoga consistently for about a 6 weeks and off and have
noticed so much change in my body and mind. I was suffering from some
severe depression and doing daily workouts have helped alleviate a lot of
the pain from that. And what you said about it helping you to make smarter
health decisions is so true! I’ve barely touched the crappy stuff, don’t
feel the urge to stress eat or late night snack and feel like my whole day
is off if I don’t get at least 30 minutes of a routine or other workout
in. Thank-you so much for posting this video and other yoga workouts.

I just started yoga and my dream to have a tone healthy body the problem i
think of eating healthy is its very difficult to prepare healthy tasty food
unlike fast food its everywhere very easy to get just drop by any fastfood
chains and call it a day thats my struggle right now

Not to be a creep, but I love your voice!

Great tips. I lost like 30 pounds three years ago doing hard core
exercises, but I don’t have the desire for those anymore. I want to lose
about 10 pounds by March and I hope yoga can help. Even if I don’t lost
weight, yoga helps me feel calm and collected. You videos are really
helpful. Thanks!

I used to suffer every winter from pretty severe Seasonal Affective
Disorder; and even though I was eating very well, I wasn’t being active!

:((( *sad body* :(((

Big no no, I know, but I thought that as long as I was eating well, I
didn’t have to be active to be healthy.

But now that I’ve started yoga, I’ve really felt my body open up, and my
mind really focus. I even feel like I’m kicking the winter cold in the
butt. No more depression! Thanks for getting me started in the yoga

So, so very true. I have done yoga for a week straight and have already
lost a bit of weight, but mor than that I am confident. I am happy woth by
body, my Rheumatoid arthritis pain is almost nonexistent, and I’m not
greaking out about losing weight. Don’t we all dream about being happy in
our skin?

I used to do yoga for 40 min everyday and then I stopped an immediately
began to put on weight. Also very true how you said your tendency to go out
and eat healthy after yoga. I am starting to do yoga everyday before uni at
6am and the rest of the day I don’t want to eat unhealthy.

I didn’t occur to me how I treat myself sometimes after a heavy training
session. This is a problem, because I know it will just set me back a
little. I enjoy weight lifting and HIIT, and just getting interested in the
calmness of yoga. Thank you, this really makes me wnatbto be more aware of
how my body feels and wants after a workout and train it more for something
healthy afterwards. Old habits die hard sometimes, lol.
