Sit back, relax, and let me help you get the know-how to lose that excess blubber the easy way! And read the info below for this bits I forgot to mention too 😉

Firstly, okay the other way is liposuction – but aside from that …

Well, I just lost another two stone – or 10+ kg of fat relatively easily. And there’s so much junk out there that I though I’d give you the skinny on how its done.

Broadly speaking, the mantra of calories in / calories out is true. Yea, there’s things like gut bacteria and very rarely, hormones etc that can make a difference – but generally, you need to reduce the calories that turn into fat by either: a) exercising more to burn more calories, or b) eat less – or c) preferably, a combination of both.

in the video I’ll explain the theory and the practice of it all.

I refer to the Under Armour app to get to know your calorie intake with its useful barcode scanning feature (which works great with UK food!) – and you can find the IOS / iPhone version here:

I refer to sites to work out what your calorie intake should be for your age and weight etc. – here’s one:

REMEMBER, IF YOU WANT TO LOSE 2LBS OR 1KG PER WEEK, THAT’S 3,500 CALORIES X 2 OR 7,000 CALORIES YOU NEED TO “SAVE”. THAT’S 1,000 PER DAY – EITHER THROUGH EXERCISING MORE OR THROUGH EATING LESS – BUT PREFERABLY A COMBINATION OF BOTH.

If you have any comments or questions – please put them below and I’ll do my best to answer.

Check the back of packs etc and the bit that says “of which sugars” and try to avoid ever going above 5g per 100.

And don’t “drink” your calories – just avoid things like fruit juices, milky and sugary coffees and fizzy drinks etc. Don’t drink diet versions because the artificial sweeteners can raise your insulin levels as much as the sugar they’re cutting out – making your body store fat!

Finally, don’t give up – you can do it – but do it because YOU want to, otherwise it will get too tough. And set a reasonable goal – and measure yourself at the same time each week – say Sunday morning after you get up.

Oh, and I do occasionally say “grams” when I should say calories etc – sorry – and I’m not medically qualified in any way – this is just my own experience of what just works – and what works great.

Go for it!
